Well, I guess it’s inevitable. Once A.I takes over the world, we’ll all be on the chopping block. So, you can imagine my utter delight when the trailer for Dragn dropped, suggesting that the end might be closer than we think. At least, it is for these happy campers.
In a team building exercise gone horribly wrong, a group of workers are sent on a wilderness trip that takes an horrific turn when a rogue A.I. drone shows up and starts killing the hell out of everyone.
Director Peter Webber states:
“I’m fascinated by the way that drones have completely changed warfare and the creeping machinization of everyday life. Machine logic is very clean, but the human consequences are muddy, panicked, bloody and violent.”
Written by Barry Hutchison and Alexander Gordon Smith, and starring James Paxton, Lilly Krug, Carlos Bardem, Alice Pagani, Jadran Malkovich, Franz Drameh, and Alex Lane, Dragn flies onto digital, via Cineverse, on March 17th.
