German Death Metal veterans Fleshcrawl have officially announced their tenth studio album, Epitome of Carnage, marking their first full-length release in seven years. To coincide with the news, the band has unleashed Embers of Wrath, a new single and music video that serves as a thematic meditation on the horrors and needless suffering of war.โ€‹

The album is set to arrive on June 12th, through Distortion Music Group (DMG), under the Reigning Phoenix Music umbrella. While Fleshcrawl is synonymous with blistering speed and power, the band describes Embers of Wrath as a unique counterweight to the rest of the recordโ€™s brutality. It leans into a mid-tempo, melodic approach that pays homage to the Gothenburg-style influences and HM2 guitar tones that have defined their sound for decades.โ€‹

Epitome of Carnage follows 2019โ€™s Into the Catacombs of Flesh and represents a significant milestone in a career that has spanned over 30 years. Despite internal changes and the long gap between records, the band sounds revitalized, packing the new album with twelve tracks of relentless riffs and shadow-drenched melodies.โ€‹Fans can catch the new material live later this year, as Fleshcrawl is set to embark on a European tour alongside Avulsed and Violentor.

Pre-orders for Epitome of Carnage are available now.
