Following their evolution from a studio-only project into a functional live unit, Kybalion has announced a new EP titled Make the World Bleed. Set for release on June 5th, via Non Serviam Records, the collection finds the band refining a sonic identity that is as conceptually dense as it is aggressive.
Drawing thematic inspiration from the Friedrich Dรผrrenmatt novel Der Verdacht, the EP examines the psychological rot that follows absolute power. The lyrics explore anxiety, guilt, and the distortion of morality through the lens of those who attempt to transcend human law. This narrative is structured across four distinct acts, illustrating a descent into madness and the inevitable destruction that follows when a species tries to wield power beyond its comprehension.

Musically, the band expands upon a modern Black Metal foundation by incorporating dissonant textures and frantic riffing. Their sound is further colored by a noir-inspired aesthetic and obscure cinema, blending bleak atmospheres with occasional d-beat sections and decaying melodic structures. These elements work together to reinforce an oppressive and stark sonic environment.
Kybalion remains anchored by a philosophical framework that pulls from Cosmic Pessimism, Absurdism, and Futurism. This intellectual approach extends to their visual presentation, as the EPโs cover art features Sascha Schneiderโs 1903 work The Astral Body. By merging a grotesque view of the human conscience with relentless Extreme Metal, the band has created a release that serves as both a philosophical inquiry and a brutal musical statement.
