Indian symphonic deathcore heavyweights Dark Helm have officially returned to the fold, unleashing a staggering new single, Throne. While previously celebrated for meticulously incorporating distinct Middle Eastern and traditional ethnic influences into their progressive deathcore framework, the band has shifted direction with this latest offering. Throne leans heavily into sweeping orchestral and symphonic territory, placing a deliberate, grandiose emphasis on cinematic arrangements and massive atmosphere without losing an ounce of the band’s foundational technicality.

The result is a sprawling, high-concept track that successfully expands Dark Helm’s boundaries while remaining deeply anchored to the crushing, extreme elements at its core. Grandiose orchestration sits side-by-side with razor-sharp, aggressive riffing, relentless extreme vocals, and flawless technical musicianship. It is a well crafted balancing act, effortlessly placing cinematic scale against pure, unadulterated brutality without sacrificing either.

Throughout the track, a foreboding darkness and theatrical tension swell and hurriedly subside as the pace increases and the overall intensity rises. As the symphonic heaviness ebbs and flows through chaotic, technical deathcore movements, its ferocious brutality leaves absolutely nothing in its wake. Throne is available now on all major digital streaming platforms.
