Finnish melodic metal outfit Arion push back against the predictable formulas that often stall modern power metal. Their latest single, Into The Fire, proves they can balance intricate technicality with accessibility, anchoring fierce guitar work and intense vocals with massive, arena-ready hooks.
Released via Reigning Phoenix Music alongside a new music video, the track expands on the heavy momentum established by their previous single, Hurricane. Together, these two tracks lay the groundwork for what listeners can expect from the bandโs upcoming fifth studio album.
Into The Fire focuses on the vulnerability and grit needed to step into the unknown. Rather than dwelling on failure, the song explores how trusting someone else can become a stabilizing force when facing fear.
Guitarist and songwriter Iivo Kaipainen explains the core idea behind the track:
“The song is about finally feeling strong enough to take that hand and make the jump.”
By avoiding over-polished clichรฉs, Arion deliver a sharp, high-energy track that shows exactly how their songwriting is maturing ahead of the full album release.
