Vienna black metal band Ill Tidings have released Seeds of True Rebirth, their third full-length album. Since forming in 2018, the group has focused heavily on the underground live circuit, appearing at festivals such as Berlin’s De Mortem et Diabolum, London’s Cosmic Void Festival, and the Czech Republic’s Enter the Eternal Fire Fest.

The album explores apocalypse and transformation directly, moving past abstract concepts to treat annihilation as a violent catalyst for rebirth. This thematic focus is carried by seven tracks that reject hyper-polished modern production in favor of a cold, unpolished atmosphere.

Throughout the record, the instrumentation moves between dense guitar layers and driving rhythms, blending freezing melodic passages with a distinct, ritualistic tone.

By prioritizing raw execution over studio polish, Seeds of True Rebirth gives Ill Tidings a sharp, uncompromised focus as they head back into the European festival circuit.
