Barcelona atmospheric black metal band Perennial Isolation have released Crimson Iconoclasm, a track featured on their upcoming autumn album, The Vermilion Farewell. Since forming in 2012, the group has established an international presence through four full-length records and European tours with acts like Harakiri for the Sky, Kampfar, and Nocturnal Depression.
The song examines the dismantling of internal illusions and the process of destructive transformation. Jan Insomnic provides a layered narration that anchors this theme, while guest vocalist P.G. of Groza joins the performance to bring a theatrical dimension to the track.
The piece bypasses a dense wall of noise. The composition focuses instead on distinct guitar lines and expansive atmospheric passages, allowing the instrumentation to carry the emotional weight of the lyrics.
Crimson Iconoclasm serves as a straightforward introduction to the band’s new material as they prepare for the full release of The Vermilion Farewell.
