Portuguese gothic metal veterans Moonspell are heading back to North America this autumn, joining forces with extreme metal titans Cradle of Filth for a sprawling tour across the United States and Canada. The heavy-hitting package is rounded out by supporting acts Worm Gloom and Black Satellite.

The tour comes on the heels of Moonspell’s latest studio album, Far From God, released via Napalm Records. Beyond showcasing their brand-new material, the upcoming run serves as a major milestone celebration for the band: they will be marking the 30th anniversary of their seminal 1996 gothic metal masterpiece, Irreligious. Fans can expect a setlist that heavily bridges these two eras, alongside classics from across their three-decade career.

The pairing of Cradle of Filth and Moonspell is a reunion of two of European extreme metal’s most enduring forces, who first shared a stage over thirty years ago.

“Moonspell and Cradle of Filth came a long way,” says vocalist Fernando Ribeiro. “We first played together in 1994 and since then we’ve been sharing stages all around the globe. It’s also our return to North America and we sure want to make it count! Cradle is on a creative and touring roll, so we’ll try to get ourselves some of their charm and deliver you amazing nights… We’ll be promoting our new album Far From God, the 30th anniversary of Irreligious, and will go deep into our history and legacy.”
