Some songs become milestones for a band, and for Australia’s Valhalore, Horizon was one of them. Originally released as the group’s first new music in six years, the track helped launch the run that led to Beyond The Stars, a deal with Reigning Phoenix Music / ROAR, and an expanding international profile. Now the band have returned to the song with a new acoustic interpretation.

Available now on streaming platforms, Horizon – Acoustic exchanges the original’s soaring metal arrangements for acoustic instrumentation, allowing the melody and lyrics to take centre stage while offering a different perspective on one of the band’s best-known songs.

Speaking about the release, Valhalore said:
