Narcotic Wasteland, fronted by guitarist and vocalist Dallas Toler-Wade of Nile, have shared their new single Fentanyl Zombie Apocalypse as they begin their August tour.

The track tackles the fentanyl epidemic and its wider impact on society. Toler-Wade describes the song as โ€œfast and tricky yet twisted and catchyโ€, with Kenji Tsunami contributing bass and keys and Austin Vicars handling drums.

The single also provides the name for the bandโ€™s Fentanyl Zombie Apocalypse Tour, which features selected dates with Visitant, Monochromatic Black, IATT and Yotuma.

Alongside Toler-Wade, the current Narcotic Wasteland lineup features Vicars on drums and Tsunami on bass. The band will spend August performing the new material as the tour gets underway.
