Atmospheric black metal outfit Invoker have announced Leaving Memories Behind, a new single set for release at midnight on October 31st, 2026. The track marks the opening chapter of a forthcoming concept album tracing the human life cycle, introducing a revamped lineup featuring pianist Alexander Hey and musician Francisco Alba alongside a revised sonic direction.

Produced by Victor Mantus at Deathspell Studio, the single examines dementia, identity loss, and mental decline from an internal perspective. Musically, the composition pairs black metal fundamentals with dissonant guitar passages, ambient textures, and classical piano, deliberately steering away from standard genre conventions as the arrangements collapse into noise.

The release features cover art by Missy S. alongside a desaturated two-part teaser video centered on themes of ash and decay. The single establishes the groundwork for the broader album, which focuses on aging, memory, and existential decline through interconnected, long-form compositions.
