Grindscene Records has unveiled a new music video from Northern Irish doom metal outfit The Crawling for their track Bound To The Negative (Requiem). The piece serves as the concluding track on the group’s latest EP release, What We Leave Behind, which originally arrived on October 2nd, 2026.
The track is an acoustic reimagining of a song originally featured on their All Of This For Nothing album. Written in low-tuning B acoustic arrangements, the revised version strips away traditional death metal vocal styles in favor of clean vocal performances, focusing on themes of nostalgia and memory reinterpretation.
The accompanying music video was filmed in a single night session by vocalist and guitarist Andy Clarke alongside bassist Adrien Crozet. Utilizing minimal battery-powered lighting in an isolated urban setting, the raw visual presentation was designed to mirror the solitary, reflective nature of the lyrics.
The Crawling are currently embarking on a nine-date tour in support of the EP, concluding at K.K.’s Steel Mill in Wolverhampton on December 5th, 2026.
