A red band trailer for Frankie, Maniac Woman has arrived, and it’s drenched, head to toe, in gore.

Directed by Pierre Tsigaridis, the film looks like it’s been stitched together from the nastiest corners of character study and grindhouse excess. There’s a serial killer at the centre, but this isn’t just body count for the sake of it—l, it’s coming from somewhere ugly, personal, and very loud.

Dina Silva stars as Frankie Ramirez, an aspiring singer-songwriter trying to survive an industry that runs on image, pressure, and tearing people down for sport. Between unresolved trauma, warped expectations, and the kind of scrutiny that eats people alive, something eventually gives. When it does, it doesn’t do so quietly.

The trailer doesn’t ease you in. It escalates, fast. It’s aggressive, violent as fuck, and very aware of exactly what it’s doing.

The script comes from Tsigaridis and Silva, with a cast that includes Stefanie Estes, Tim Fox, Jordan Debarge, Rocío de la Grana, Tsigaridis himself, and Daniella Mendoza. Two Witches Films will release Frankie, Maniac Woman in limited theaters on April 24th.

Make sure you bring a strong stomach, because if this trailer is anything to go by then you’re gonna need it.
