Let’s face it; the found footage horror genre is as dead as the dodo and twice as ugly. For far too long we, the fans, have been subjected to Hollywood’s attempts to wring another dollar out of its twitching corpse, or to films that should never have left the first draft. But Heritage, a movie shot for less than £5,000, looks to breathe life back into the old corpse with this brand new trailer for its Corcican nightmare.

When Marie and Daniel return to Corcica to visit their grandfather after 15 years, they plan to capture this happy family reunion on a camcorder, yet they soon find themselves in over their heads as their world starts unraveling around them.

Written and directed by Baptist Agostini-Croce, and starring Marie Bolbenes, Daniel Di Grazia, Luca Lavallette, and Philippe Ambrosini, Heritage will have its world premiere on March 26th at the Unnamed Footage Festival in San Francisco.
