I’ve always been of the opinion that weddings are one of the true horrors in life, and it seems that I’m not alone as Netflix have just dropped the first trailer for their upcoming eight part series: Something Very Bad is Going to Happen.

Rachel Harkin (Camila Morrone) and Nicky Cunningham (Adam DiMarco) are an engaged couple who take a trip to Nicky’s family vacation home, the destination of their forthcoming nuptials, but not everything is what it seems and soon Rachel is having second thoughts. Especially when it appears that the man she is about to marry might not be the person she thought he was.

Showrunner and writer Haley Z. Boston comments:

“I love horror. It’s natural to me, [it’s how] I process my own emotions and feelings and my own understanding of the world. I think horror allows you to explore taboo feelings and take all of these fears and give them some bite.”

Something Very Bad is Going to Happen premieres on Netflix, March 26th.
