The 1978 movie Faces of Death is a rite of passage for horror fans. A supposed snuff/documentary type of film, it caused world wide panic of a sort when it was first released. It was allegedly banned in 46 countries (though that number was inflated for marketing purposes) yet the fact is that Faces of Death is nothing more than a Mondo Horror film.

A Mondo Horror film that the Independent Film Company and Shudder have decided to remake, unleashing a brand new red band trailer ahead of its release that goes for the throat and other body parts.

When a female moderator of a website stumbles across content seeming to show a group of people recreating the murders from the original film, she is quickly drawn into a world of blood, gore, and dead bodies that may or may not be real.

Directed by Daniel Goldhaber from a co-written script alongside Isa Mazzei, and starring Barbie Ferreira, Dacre Montgomery, Josie Totah, Aaron Holliday, Jermaine Fowler, and Charli XCX, Faces of Death will hit cinemas April 10th.
