Just when you thought it was safe to peek put from behind your cushion, Showbox have released a teaser trailer for the Korean horror Salmokji: Whispering Water, that turns still water into something you’ll never quite trust again.
According to the blurb;
“The story takes place at Salmokji Reservoir, a well-known haunted site in Korea, and begins when a mysterious figure is captured in an online street-view image. A group is sent to shoot a clearer image, headed by team leader Su-in in place of a colleague who has vanished. But as they set to work, the crew begin to experience disturbing phenomena as a sinister presence from below the water surfaces.”
Roughly translated as: “Be prepared to jump out your fucking skin as all sorts of demonic shit happens, leaping out of the shadows when you least expect it, and generally giving you a serious case of the willies like on Korean horror can.”
Excellent. Where do I sign up?
Salmokji: Whispering Water is directed by Lee Sang-min, stars Kim Hye-yoon and Lee Jong-won, and is due for release April 8th.
