If you know anything about me by now, you’ll know I have a slight obsession with H.P. Lovecraft. So, anytime I see anything that has Lovecraftian attached to it, I’m gonna run towards it like a fat fuck at a free all you can eat buffet. And trust me, being a fat fuck myself, I can confirm I can move very quick where free food is concerned. Which leads me nicely (and somewhat hungrily) into the trailer for miners wake up some crazy ass cosmic horror that proceeds to kill the shit out of everyone movie, The Deep Dark, due out on VOD in thr UK and the US on March 24th.

It’s the 1950s and a Professor has decided to poke around with something he shouldn’t be poking around with. He enlists the help of some miners, as the bad idea he has is deep underground, but after a cave in happens due to the excessive use of explosives, they find they’ve woken monsters that will eat everyone in a five mile radius.

Written and directed by Mathieu Turi, and starring Samuel Le Bihan, Amir El Kacem, Jean-Hugues Anglade, Thomas Solivérès, Bruno Sanches, Diego Martín, Marc Riso, and Philippe Torreto, The Deep Dark will see the light of day on March 24th, via 4Digital Media.
