Italian metal outfit Red Code have released a lyric video for their cover of Godsmack’s I Stand Alone, taken from their EP Traces of Unease and Discomfort, Ep. 1.

Formed in Trieste by vocalist Lenina, drummer Ivo, and late bassist Andrea Bossi, the band operate as a strictly live act, performing without backing tracks or studio sequencing. Over years of playing small clubs, festivals, and motorcycle rallies, the group have opened for acts including Lacuna Coil’s Cristina Scabbia, Exilia, and Tystnaden.

Traces of Unease and Discomfort, Ep. 1 is the group’s debut studio release following their live career. The material blends alternative metal influences like System of a Down and Godsmack with structural elements from prog acts Dream Theater and Fates Warning.

Traces of Unease and Discomfort, Ep. 1 is available now through Wormholedeath.
