Red Code have released Toxic Karma, the latest single and official video from their forthcoming EP Traces of Unease and Discomfort, Pt. 1, due out on September 25 through Epictronic.

The song turns its attention inward, exploring the destructive patterns people create for themselves and the difficult process of breaking away from them. Fear, frustration and the struggle to overcome personal limitations form the lyrical focus, with Red Code pairing those themes with heavy riffs and an intense dynamic approach.

The accompanying video forms part of An Archive of Us, a three-chapter sci-fi thriller short film built around the band’s music. Set against a dystopian backdrop, the project examines humanity’s desire for control, with the remaining chapters also built around songs from the forthcoming release. The film was produced by S@NGIORGIO 2020 with technical support from Infinity Digital.
