Berlin-based post-black metal outfit Nidare have released a new single titled Schweigen, offering the first preview of their upcoming, as-yet-untitled second full-length album.

Clocking in at seven minutes, the track ditches standard metal lyricism to confront systemic silence and the protection of abusers over victims. The single arrives alongside a bleak performance video, setting a heavy tone for the band’s next full-length chapter following their earlier work.

Formed by veterans of the German underground with ties to acts like Ancst, Henry Fonda, Ast, Chambers, and Afterlife Kids, Nidareโ€™s sound bridges atmospheric black metal, screamo, and post-metal. Their arrangement relies on blast-beat dynamics interspersed with heavy doom passages, balancing intricate guitar melodies against aggressive hardcore-derived vocal delivery.

The release comes as the group prepares to hit the road across Europe for an extensive tour.

The new album drops in 2027.
