Swedish rockers Besvärjelsen have shared a new music video for Accelerating Hearts, the latest preview of their forthcoming third full-length album, Till Glömskan Ad Oblivionem (Into Oblivion).

The track features a guest appearance from Fred Burman of Satan Takes a Holiday, joining vocalist Lea Amling Alazam for a duet that adds another dimension to the band’s fuzz-heavy sound.

Accelerating Hearts grew from a period of considerable change for Amling Alazam, who discovered she was pregnant while the album was being written. Returning to the creative process without the habits and vices that had previously accompanied her songwriting led her to reflect on the rush and heightened senses associated with them.

The result became a song about that feeling of acceleration, with Amling Alazam deciding early in the writing process that she wanted it to be a duet. Burman was her first choice for the collaboration, bringing his vocals to the track alongside hers.

Till Glömskan Ad Oblivionem will be released on August 28 through Magnetic Eye Records.
