It took them fourteen bloody years and a decade of relentless nagging from their mates, but Swiss heavy outfit Bagheera have finally got around to dragging their sole album onto streaming platforms.

Active out of Lausanne between 2009 and 2014, the band was a bit of a localised supergroup, pulling together members from Impure Wilhelmina, Algebra, Menace, June Deville, and Green Fairy. What they churned out was a heavy, bastardised collision of post-hardcore weight, thrash bite, and filthy stoner groove. They spent five years tearing through European clubs, won a slot at Greenfield Festival alongside Slayer and Rammstein, and then dropped off the face of the earth.

Their 2012 record Drift has been sitting in digital limbo ever since. Now that it is finally back in circulation, the band reckon getting the back catalogue sorted has actually forced them to start talking to each other again.

Whether that leads to fresh noise under a new moniker or they simply vanish back into the Swiss fog remains to be seen, but for now, Drift is finally out there.
