Finnish atmospheric black metal project Beyond Seventh Dimension is gearing up for the release of their debut full-length album, Tรคhtien ikuinen suru, slated to drop on September 4th, via Inverse Records. Giving fans a first taste of the bleak soundscapes to come, the band has unleashed their brand new single, Silurian Seas, which is now available on all major streaming services.

The tracking pulls its conceptual inspiration from deep geological time, specifically the Silurian Period. The band shared that the song explores the primitive era beginning roughly 443 million years ago when the vast majority of life on Earth was still confined to the deep, noting it was “a time when lonely winds blew and rains fell on an empty domain.”

Beyond Seventh Dimension has seen a remarkably rapid evolution, originally starting out as a solo instrumental project just last year in 2025. The addition of vocals quickly shifted the scope from standalone tracks to a full-length record, and while there are currently internal talks of expanding the project into a proper, fully-fledged band line-up in the future, the mastermind is currently focused on the impending September rollout.
