Odium Records have announced XXX Years ov Rituals Upon the Black Altar – 1996-2026, a special release marking 30 years of Polish black metal act Black Altar.

The first track from the anniversary album, Infernal Damnation, is now available with an accompanying video. The release combines newly recorded material with selected songs from throughout Black Altar’s career, with each track newly mastered for this retrospective collection.

Across its 80-minute runtime, XXX Years ov Rituals Upon the Black Altar – 1996-2026 captures three decades of the band’s journey through darkness, drawing on themes of death, witchcraft, devil worship and the Qliphotic Void.

Rather than simply looking back, the release presents a band still connected to the atmosphere and ideas that have shaped Black Altar since their formation in 1996.

XXX Years ov Rituals Upon the Black Altar – 1996-2026 will be released on CD in October 2026 through Odium Records.
