If your idea of a proper Halloween doesnโ€™t involve costume parties and cheap jump scares, Polish black metal veterans Black Altar are taking over The Garage in London on October 31 to celebrate 30 years in the underground.

Thirty years in extreme metal is a fucking long time, so Black Altar have put together an international bill for this one-off UK anniversary show.

Joining them are Norwegian black metal heavyweights Urgehal for a rare UK appearance. The band donโ€™t exactly make a habit of crossing the Channel, so this is a pretty good excuse to get yourself down to London, alongside French black metal veterans Merrimack.

The local support is also well worth getting there early for, with the UKโ€™s own Godking, Heathen Deity and Necro Ritual rounding out the bill.

Itโ€™s currently Black Altarโ€™s only scheduled UK anniversary date, so if you want to spend Halloween in a dark room getting your head caved in by four countriesโ€™ worth of black metal, this is probably a better option than dressing up as a fucking zombie and going to a pub.

Tickets are available now through Red Devil Promotions.
