Greek extreme metal outfit Caelestia have premiered the video for Wolves, the latest visual taken from their recently released album Revelations In Black, which arrived on July 24th via Eclipse Records.

Directed and edited by Sergios Vafiadis of Start A Scene Productions, whose previous work includes Rotting Christ, Omen and Demon, the video places the focus squarely on the band’s performance inside a bleak, totalitarian setting. Stark visuals, tight camera work and relentless pacing mirror the song’s intensity, creating a presentation that feels every bit as direct and uncompromising as the music itself.

The concept draws inspiration from the clandestine “Werewolves” organisation that emerged in Germany during the closing stages of the Second World War, while also taking cues from George Orwell’s 1984. Filmed inside an imposing military prison, the video builds an atmosphere of paranoia through rapid editing, claustrophobic close-ups and recurring imagery, including a wolf mask and a flickering vintage television. A cold blue colour palette dominates each scene, while fractured windows and carefully placed lighting provide subtle hints of hope amid the surrounding oppression.

As the second video to emerge from Revelations In Black, Wolves further develops the album’s visual identity while reflecting the band’s evolution from its early symphonic roots towards a sharper, guitar-driven blend of progressive extreme metal, melodic black metal and death metal.

Caelestia’s current line-up features vocalist Pantelis “Lordwinter” Daskalelos, guitarists Bill Thomas and Andrew Geo, bassist Stavros Sotiropoulos, and former Destruction and Morgoth drummer Marc Reign, whose commanding performance underpins the track’s formidable rhythmic drive. Produced by Zack Ohren, Revelations In Black combines technical precision with expansive songwriting, balancing aggression, melody and progressive ambition throughout.

With Revelations In Black now available, Wolves reinforces the album’s darker themes while showcasing the confidence and creativity driving Caelestia’s current chapter. The video adds another striking visual companion to a record that continues to demonstrate why the Greek quintet are one of the country’s most ambitious extreme metal acts.
