IFC Films is scheduled to bring the thriller Chum to theaters on June 5th. Directed by Jonathan Zuck, the project features Alice Eve in the lead role, joined by a cast including Eric Michael Cole, Jim Klock, and Lisa Yaro.

The film follows a group of friends and a newly married couple as they embark on a luxury boat trip through the Mediterranean. The vacation takes a dark turn when the characters find themselves caught in a deadly crossfire between a hungry shark and a violent psychopath determined to hunt it down, no matter what kind of bait he has to use. The story focuses on their struggle to stay alive as their idyllic getaway becomes a brutal battle for survival on the open water.

The screenplay was a collaborative effort between Zuck and Joe Leone. Rounding out the cast are performers Elle Haymond, Johnny Gaffney, and Sarah Siadat.
