Following four years of development, Colombian melodic black/death metal group Eshtadur will release their new full-length album, In Darkness All Shadows Gone, on October 2nd, 2026 via Rockshots Records. The 12-track release expands the band’s core sound by integrating symphonic arrangements recorded alongside the Caldas Symphonic Orchestra, alongside layered vocal production, atmospheric passages, and Tuvan throat singing.

To mark the announcement, Eshtadur have launched the album’s lead single and accompanying music video, Into The Woods. Built on fast alternate-picked riffing, dissonant leads, and dark orchestral textures, the single serves as the entry point into the record’s overarching concept.

Frontman Jorg August reflected on the extensive production process behind the album:

โ€œWe worked on this material for four years. It is a long album with twelve tracks, symphonic arrangements, a real orchestra, many vocal layers and Tuvan voices. At times, it felt like a giant puzzle, but everything finally came together. We are proud of the result and grateful to everyone who helped us build it. A crow is calling.โ€

Lyrically and visually, the record follows a continuous narrative centered on “The Crow”โ€”a shamanic figure representing initiation, isolation, and spiritual transformation. The official music video for Into The Woods mirrors these themes, depicting August guided into the forest by the central figure as a metaphor for confronting internal trauma and memory.

In Darkness All Shadows Gone arrives October 2nd via Rockshots Records.
