18 seconds. That’s all the new teaser trailer for Dead Eyes is. 18 seconds. But in that 18 seconds it does more than enough to draw you in and make you want to see more.
Maybe it’s the story – Sean and his fiancรฉe, Grace, enter a remote forest to search for his missing father, Paul, who vanished following the tragic death of his youngest daughter, Lilly – or perhaps it’s the fact it’s all shot in first person thanks to the use of a camera customised to fit on the head. But I think it might just bee that end clip of a young woman with blood pouring out of her mouth, acting freaky as hell, that sold it to me.
Directed, written, edited, and produced by Richard E. Williams, and starring Rijen Laine, Ana Thu Nguyen, Charles Cottier, Alea OโShea, Mischa Heywood, Stephen Phillips, and Freya Callaghan, Dead Eyes will place you in the lead role of utter horror when it gets its world premiere at SXSW on March 12.
