Disfiguring the Goddess are giving us one last taste of their upcoming album Bloom before it drops on July 31st via Seek & Strike. The new track, Kiss The Dice, serves as the final puzzle piece for the record, intentionally written to tie together the various sonic experiments and heavy-hitting directions explored throughout the project.

The track thrives on sharp structural contrasts. It bridges the gap between pit-ready, heavy-as-hell guitar riffs and an open, melodic chorus, all anchored by a bouncy rhythm section. Adding a fresh layer to their signature sound, the band has woven subtle, electronic dance textures into the background, letting the synth arrangements fully take the reins for an emotional payoff at the finish.

Instead of relying on typical metal bravado, the songwriting uses an all-night gamble in Reno, Nevada as a backdrop to explore something deeper. Frontman Argon notes that while the track carries a confident, swaggering groove on the surface, there is an underlying sense of isolation and longing baked into the story—capturing that specific, blurred headspace of being fully aware of your flaws but giving into the chaos anyway.

“On the surface, the song can feel confident and fun, but underneath that there is something sadder and more lost,” Argon explains. “It carries the feeling of knowing your truth while still being intoxicated by the sin-driven atmosphere of a city like Reno.”
