Epic Pictures imprint Dread have announced October release dates for Devour, a new supernatural horror film from Bad Candy director Scott B. Hansen.

The film follows an all-girl heavy metal band , featuring KateLynn E. Newberry and Butcher Babies vocalist Heidi Shepherd, who find themselves stranded after a disastrous gig. When they try to help a local woman in trouble, the group ends up trapped in a remote town run by a warlock and overrun with cannibals, vampires and a werewolf.

Rather than relying on cheap digital effects, Devour sticks to practical creature suits, prosthetics and animatronics designed by Wayne Anderson, whose credits include Stranger Things and IT.

Devour hits select US cinemas on October 9, followed by a digital release on October 13.
