Dutch atmospheric black metal project Beenkerver has partnered with Vendetta Records to release its upcoming six-track album, Doodlot. Written and tracked by sole songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Niels Riethorst, the record marks the project’s latest full-length installment following its previous underground output.

While rooted in Riethorst’s singular creative vision, the recording features studio contributions from session drummer Joris Nijenhuis alongside a guest vocal feature from No Man’s Valley frontman Jasper Hesselink. Production duties for the session were handled by engineer Thomas Taube, emphasizing an expansive, atmospheric mix.

Visual duties for the physical release combine original imagery from Dutch photographer Rik Balder with supplementary illustrations by Belgian artist Bram Bruyneel. The finished package relies on stark, nature-focused aesthetic elements that mirror the album’s bleak thematic direction.

Vendetta Records will issue the album across digital platforms, vinyl LP, and compact disc formats.

Doodlot drops November 6th.
