Finnish melodic dark metal outfit Soulfallen are set to release their long-awaited fourth album, Uncharted Plains, via Inverse Records. The album breaks a 14-year recording silence following their last full-length release.
Founded in 2003 in Jyvรคskylรค, the band established their sound across three early releases: 2007’s World Expiration, 2009’s Grave New World, and 2012’s The Promise of Hell. Following an extended hiatus, the five-piece returned to the stage as Saturday headliners at the Symphonic Metal Echoes festival in Romania in 2025.

The current line-up features vocalist Kai Leikola, guitarists Aapeli Kivimรคki and Jari Kinnunen, bassist Teemu Vรคhรคkangas, and drummer Aaro Lappalainen. Uncharted Plains collects seven new tracks, pairing the group’s established atmospheric foundation with updated musical directions.
Uncharted Plains arrives on CD and digital platforms on 20th November 2026 through Inverse Records.
