Lille-based sludge metal quartet Love Sex Machine have released Borrow the Will, the latest single from their forthcoming full-length album, Thriving. Set for release via Pelagic Records, the new track offers another glimpse into the group’s long-standing, uncompromising approach to heavy music.
Operating for over a decade, the band has built a reputation on heavy repetition, confrontation, and physical weight. Their current sound blends foundational sludge elements with post-metal, post-hardcore tension, and cold, blackened textures, pairing relentless sonic density with a streak of dark humor.
The upcoming record features short, immediate compositions designed to emphasize directness and abrasive noise over traditional restraint. Written to be more aggressive than their previous output, the new material relies on angular modern metal precision to anchor its heavy, repetitive structures.
Love Sex Machine will release Thriving on November 13th, 2026 via Pelagic Records.
