Italian progressive metal act GanEden have released a lyric video for Eva, a song from their concept album Gan Eden.

Centred on humanity’s first exile, Eva shifts the focus towards the woman at the heart of the Genesis narrative, exploring themes of knowledge, rebellion and independence. The song challenges the traditional portrayal of Eve as a figure of corruption, presenting her as a character questioning the authority placed over her and searching for freedom through awareness and self-determination.

The track captures the progressive ambition at the core of GanEden’s sound, using intricate arrangements and atmospheric passages to support the wider story unfolding throughout the album.

Gan Eden reimagines the Genesis narrative through a science-fiction lens, portraying Adam and Eve as genetic experiments created by a higher intelligence before being cast out onto Earth. Across the record, GanEden examine creation, exile and the origins of humanity through a concept-driven blend of progressive metal and storytelling.
