Finnish outfit Garden of Stone have unveiled their new single, a metal reimagining of Maija Vilkkumaaโ€™s Satumaa-tango, accompanied by an official music video. The track marks the fourth advance cut from their upcoming second full-length album, For The World Of The Obsolete.

While broadly rooted in death metal, the band incorporate elements of rock, shoegaze, progressive structures, and black metal into their output. Their rework of Satumaa-tango applies this cross-genre approach to Vilkkumaaโ€™s original pop-rock track, layering double-bass drumming and harsh vocals over the core arrangement while maintaining the song’s fundamental composition.

Following their previous advance singles, For The World Of The Obsolete continues the group’s stylistic expansion beyond rigid subgenre boundaries, pairing aggressive riffing with melodic and atmospheric passages.

Satumaa-tango is available now across digital platforms, with For The World Of The Obsolete scheduled for release on December 11th, 2026, via Inverse Records.
