The West Coast Extreme-Metal outfit Gravemass is wasting no time following the release of their debut album, This Is The Way. The band has officially announced the This Is The Way Tour 2026, a scorched-earth run across Western Canada that kicks off this July.โ

For the uninitiated, Gravemass isn’t exactly a group of newcomers. The band is essentially a Vancouver underground supergroup, boasting a massive lineage that includes members of 3 Inches of Blood, Revocation, Zimmers Hole, The Golers, and West of Hell. That decades-long connection in the scene translates into a sound that is as seasoned as it is savage.โ
Guitarist Mayan Hate, who penned the debut in a frantic two-month creative surge, views the project as the natural byproduct of lifelong friendships. According to vocalist Lorde Heathen, the music is a direct response to the shit-hole world order we’re currently living in, a mix of sinister riffs and Death-Metal ferocity designed to channel modern chaos into rhythmic devastation.
The tour will see the band tearing through British Columbia and Alberta, including a high-profile appearance at the Loud As Hell Open Air Festival. There, theyโll share the stage with heavyweights like Fallujah and Allegaeon.
โWhile the debut was largely the vision of Mayan Hate and Lorde Heathen, the band has already confirmed that a second album is in the works, promising a fully collaborative effort from the entire veteran lineup.
