Finnish melodic metal group Dead End Finland have announced their sixth studio album, Carbon, issued via Inverse Records. Formed in Helsinki in 2007, the bandโs original lineup has remained intact since its inception, steering their sound from foundational influences toward a more modern, bombastic approach.
Ahead of the full-length release, the outfit has unveiled lead single Mercy of Fools. Musically, the groupโs output incorporates elements spanning classical compositions to death metal, prioritizing dense instrumentation and melodic structures.
Mercy of Fools addresses themes of systemic instability, societal conflict, and the resulting sense of powerlessness among individuals. According to the group, the song reflects on anger, despair, and the search for tranquility amid escalating global hostility.
Mercy of Fools is out now, with Carbon scheduled for release on March 12th, 2027 via Inverse Records.
