German blackened death metal band Horresque will release Behind the Door on July 17th. The single serves as the first independent release for the group, offering a preview of their third album, Chasms Pt. III – The Dread, Unveiled, which is scheduled for early 2027.

The track initiates the final chapter of the band’s ongoing Chasms trilogy. The lyrics focus on severe psychological malice, moving away from abstract horror to examine the specific cruelties the human mind can execute.

The composition anchors itself on sharp melodic lines integrated into a blackened death metal framework. Horresque emphasize atmospheric tension through the guitar arrangements, utilizing sinister pacing rather than relying solely on raw speed.

An accompanying music video is currently in production, and Horresque intend to follow this release with two more singles ahead of the full album launch.
