Finnish grind and crust trio Unborn Generation have issued Kuolleena eläjät, the lead single from their forthcoming EP Suo kuolema. Formed in Jyväskylä in 2002, the group’s upcoming release marks a distinct shift in direction, featuring lyrics written and performed entirely in Finnish.

The single addresses themes of systemic manipulation, examining how individuals are deliberately steered toward self-destructive outcomes through false and misleading information. Conceptually, the broader EP extends the thematic framework of their 2024 album …and All We Forget, focusing on modern disinformation, human malaise, and post-overconsumption scenarios.

Built on raw crust punk foundations, the arrangements incorporate bleak, stripped-back melodies while retaining the trio’s fast, aggressive core. The release stands as the band’s latest output following more than two decades of continuous activity.

Suo kuolema arrives in January 2027.
