Colombian speed freaks Louder have floored it with their new track Speed Junkie, the second single from their upcoming debut album Devilโs Night, arriving May 14th, via Fighter Records. It lands as a lyric video, and this thing is built to burn rubber and stay loud.
Speed Junkie sets the tone early: rapid-fire riffs, pounding drums, and vocals that donโt play nice. Itโs rooted in classic Speed Metal DNA, pulling from the likes of Razor and Living Death, with an extra layer of grit that leans toward the street-level side of the genre.
Formed at the tail end of 2024, Louder didnโt waste time. A 2025 demo (Raw-Hell-Sal at Devilโs Crypt, released through Hell Force Records) put them on the radar, and since then theyโve been building momentum across Colombiaโs underground scene. Live shows alongside acts like Hellbreaker and Rotten Blasphemy have only added fuel to the fire.
Devilโs Night will feature eight tracks of stripped-down, no-frills Speed Metal. Expect it to be fast, aggressive, and fully committed to the genreโs core obsessions. Beyond the album, the band are also set to share the stage in Medellรญn with Nocturnal, bringing their breakneck approach to a wider crowd.
Initial CD pressings are limited to 500 copies, with cassette and vinyl versions expected to follow.
Short version? Hit play, hold on, and try not to get whiplash.
