Finnish noise rock and alternative rock band MELU247 have shared their take on The Prodigy’s Breathe, giving the 1990s track a noisier and more garage-driven treatment.

The band formed in 2025, bringing together influences from noise, post-rock and alternative rock with a DIY approach and an early-90s edge. For their version of Breathe, they have taken the attitude of the original and pushed it into their own rougher territory.

The cover arrives with a music video, while the audio is also available through Bandcamp and SoundCloud. MELU247 released their debut EP on May 1 and are set to follow it with a second EP in September.
