Osnabrรผck death metal crew Minenfeld return with their second full-length, Instruments of Industrialized Warfare. Arriving seven years after their debut LP, the nine-track release pairs an unvarnished early-’90s death metal framework with an explicitly anti-nationalist political stance.
Tracked in late 2025 at Tonmeisterei Oldenburg, mixed by Poison Drinker, and mastered by Patrick W. Engel at Temple of Disharmony, the material focuses on mid-tempo crunch and straightforward aggression. Alongside eight original compositions, the album features a cover of Hellhammerโs The Third of the Storms, continuing the band’s reliance on primitive, old-school riffs.

Lyrically, the record treats modern and historic combat as a meat-grinder rather than a subject for shock value or militaristic posturing. Rather than leaning on typical gore tropes, the band use the historical realities of mechanized war to push a straightforward message against rising right-wing sentiment.
The record drops digitally, on CD via Iconoclasm Conquest, and on vinyl and cassette via Fucking Kill Records.
Instruments of Industrialized Warfare drops October 16th.
