Portuguese technical thrash metal band Shadowmare’s third album, Transfiguration, marks a period of significant change for the four-piece.

Several lineup shifts have reshaped the band in recent years, bringing with them a different approach to writing and arranging their material. The new songs are shorter and more intense, while the technical edge that has always been part of Shadowmare’s identity remains firmly in place.

Lyrically, Transfiguration looks back at the path the band have taken over the past few years. Each song reflects part of that process, from the difficulties that shaped this period to the decision to keep moving forward. Rather than disguising the changes, the album embraces them, offering a snapshot of Shadowmare as they exist today.
