Belfast-based crossover metal outfit Survivalist have released Infinity, the lead single from their forthcoming EP Four Nails. Arriving through Seek and Strike, the release marks the first taste of new music from the four-piece since their January 2026 album A Place for Those Who Suffer, Alone.
Lyrically, the track tackles grief, illness, and recovery, drawing directly on the band members’ personal experiences with cancer and family loss. Rather than wallowing in pure misery, the arrangement uses aggressive vocal delivery and heavy riffing to channel raw frustration into an underlying message of resilience.
Musically, Four Nails finds the group stripping away extraneous production layers in favor of a more direct, aggressive approach rooted in their early metal and crossover influences. The songwriting process for the EP was intentionally streamlined, yielding a leaner sound that leans harder into physical intensity while preserving melodic hooks.
The full five-track EP will be available digitally and on physical formats next month via Seek and Strike.
Four Nails drops November 13th.
