Texas metalcore band The Light Superior will release their debut full-length, Dayspring, on October 2 through Rottweiler Records.

Formed in Amarillo in 2018, The Light Superior quickly established themselves as a live act, sharing stages with We Came As Romans, Of Mice & Men and The Browning during their early years.

The band’s first EP, I Am, followed through Rottweiler Records in 2022, with Tidal Wave arriving in 2024 and Dark Moon and Ghost following in 2025 after lineup changes within the band.

Dayspring was produced by Glenn Gizzi, a founding member of Phinehas, who has worked with the band on the album’s sound.

The debut brings together the material and development of The Light Superior’s earlier releases while marking their first full-length record.
