If you thought the first trailer for The Mummy was scary, you ain’t seen nothing yet as Lee Cronin brings pure nightmare fuel in this latest offering from his upcoming reimagining of the classic monster story, that wil leave you feeling as if you have been staked out in the blazing desert sun.

The film hits theaters, including IMAX, on April 17th via Warner Bros, with tickets already available, while the AMC Dolby Cinema screenings on April 16th at 7pm will throw in ‘pre-show surprises’ and a collectible poster for anyone brave enough to attend.

The story follows a journalist whose daughter vanishes into the desert without a trace. Eight years later, she returns, but the familyโ€™s relief quickly curdles into horror, as something malevolent has come back with her.

Jack Reynor (Midsommar), Laia Costa (The Wheel of Time), May Calamawy (Moon Knight), Natalie Grace (1923), and Veronica Falcรณn (Ozark) bring the horror to life, while Cronin reunites his Evil Dead Rise crew; cinematographer Dave Garbett, production designer Nick Bassett, editor Bryan Shaw, and composer Stephen McKeon, for maximum dread.

The Mummy promises to make the legend feel alive undead when it hits cinemas in a few weeks.
