Siberian black metal band Theosophy have signed with Apocalyptic Witchcraft. The new partnership comes as the band completes work on their upcoming album, Line Before the Event Horizon, which launches on September 25th across vinyl, CD, cassette, and digital formats.

Since forming in 2008, the band has anchored their career on steady touring and a consistent release schedule. Their early catalog includes a split with Bizarrekult, followed by their first two full-length records, …Out of Decades (2010) and In the Kingdom of North (2011). Theosophy later moved into conceptual songwriting with the two-part Eastland Tales project in 2014 and 2016, a period that marked their expansion into European live dates across Poland and the Czech Republic.

More recent activity includes their fifth album, Towers of Dark Pantheon (2020), a live record in 2022, and a nationwide Russian tour supporting 2023’s Bleeding Wounds of the First and the Last.

Frontman Phantom regards the signing as a major transition point:

“We are proud to announce that we have started working with Apocalyptic Witchcraft. We hope this marks a new chapter for us.”

Label founder Conor Droney shares a similar perspective on bringing the band to the roster:

“We are always striving to find the best underground music in the world, and Theosophy are a fantastic addition to our roster. This is essential black metal for those who seek it.”
