Tungsten are heading into a packed touring season, locking in a co-headline run with Induction and Kilmara before launching a string of dates across Sweden and Norway. Arriving just ahead of the tour, the band’s new single, Sunshine Of Fall, introduces the material they will be bringing to the stage.
The track is taken from their upcoming fifth studio album, Ashes, releasing October 9, 2026, via Perception (a division of Reigning Phoenix Music). Musically, the song centers on a driving chorus and a clean melodic flow, leaning into a lighter, more uplifting energy than the rest of the album’s darker material.
Sunshine Of Fall focuses on the shifting colors and falling leaves of autumn, using the changing seasons to explore how endings naturally give way to new beginnings.
As vocalist Mike Andersson recalls:
“The melodies came together quickly and naturally.”
This straightforward approach to songwriting gives Sunshine Of Fall a distinct edge, setting expectations high for when Ashes arrives this October.
